Andreas Knobl

The renowned German porcelain and fine-art painter Andreas Knobl first joined Marilena Patronicolas’s seminar series in 2007, returning again in 2010 due to the lasting impression his teaching left on Greek artists.

Trained at the prestigious Meissen Porcelain Manufactory, Knobl later worked at Nymphenburg in Munich before establishing his own atelier in Lenggries. His art blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary innovation, and his work with major houses such as Hutschenreuther and Rosenthal has made him a respected name in European porcelain.

Through Marilena’s invitation, Greek artists were introduced to his meticulous technique, deep understanding of color, and creative adaptability. His seminars reflected Marilena’s belief that artistic excellence flourishes through collaboration, inspiring participants to merge precision with imagination in their own creations.
