A Lasting Legacy
Marilena Patronicolas, with her team.
Athens, 2012
Marilena Patronicolas’ legacy is not only reflected in the art she crafted with her hands, but also in the inspiration she ignited in others. Her impact reached well beyond the workbench. She established a subtle yet powerful empire of knowledge, skill, and artistic generosity — founding Greece’s first porcelain painting school, carefully choosing her materials and creating the Multi-Art Space that became a refuge for creative exploration. Although these initiatives are no longer active their influence continues to inspire and endure.

Manos
Manos Lappas began as Marilena Patronikola’s personal assistant and gradually evolved into her alter ego at MP Porcelain. With a background in bookkeeping, his artistic nature and sensitivity quickly made him an invaluable member of the school and multi-art space. He managed daily operations, planned classes, and organized seminars, events, and bazaars with dedication and creativity.
Manos left us too soon at the end of 2024, and his absence is deeply felt by all the students, friends, and of course, by Marilena herself.
