Bazaars

The Christmas bazaar—and, in some years, an Easter edition—gave the Multi-Art Space a different kind of energy: festive, open, and outward-facing. These events offered visitors the chance to encounter the studio’s creativity in a celebratory setting, while also giving students a meaningful way to present their work beyond the classroom. Selected creations were made available for purchase, turning the bazaars into both a seasonal tradition and a tangible bridge between learning, craft, and the wider public.

New Year Pitta Cutting

Each January, the Multi-Art Space welcomed the new year with the traditional pitta-cutting celebration, an annual moment of reunion for students, friends, and the wider MP Porcelain community. More than a seasonal custom, it was a warm gathering that honoured continuity: familiar faces returning, new participants being welcomed, and the shared joy of meeting again around the work. In this simple ritual, the studio’s spirit became visible - generosity, companionship, and a sense of belonging rooted in the life of the space.
