The German porcelain painter Peter Faust, renowned for his expressive floral compositions and over forty years of dedication to the art of hand-painted porcelain, collaborated with Marilena Patronicolas in 2006 and 2008. Faust, whose works and books (including Porzellanmalerei – PANTA RHEI) are internationally acclaimed, has inspired generations of painters with his belief that porcelain is not merely a medium but a living surface for light, movement, and emotion. When Marilena invited him to Greece, her vision was to offer local artists direct access to one of Europe’s great masters. His seminars blended precision with spontaneity, encouraging participants to explore the interplay between color and texture. Thanks to Marilena’s cultural initiative, these encounters became turning points in the Greek porcelain community—uniting technical mastery with a renewed sense of artistic freedom.
